Vaseline Aloe Fresh Protecting Body Lotion

I have dozens of hand and body moisturizers in my possession. That is not including the ones I have stored in the fridge. While I typically love scented moisturizers, I have been on the hunt for a less/non-scented product for everyday use. Vaseline Aloe Fresh Protecting Body Lotion has worked very well for me, so I thought I would share my experience with you all particularly since this is SPF 15.

This lotion has a very light and fresh fragrance. It smells like aloe (as the product has aloe in it) and has a hint of a fresh cucumber scent. It does not smell at all like sunscreen, which can sometimes be a problem with SPF products.

Everyday Favorites: INM Out The Door Fast Drying Top Coat

Earlier this week, I shared with you my favorite base coat. Today, I'm showcasing my favorite top coat: INM Out the Door Fast Drying Top Coat.

There are a ton of fast drying top coats to choose from, so why is this my favorite? It works. Period. I can put this on over tacky polish and within 3 minutes it is dry enough for me to actually do things with my hands. If I put it on after waiting a minute or two for the under polish to dry, within 90 seconds I can use my hands.

Everyday Favorites: Seche Rebuild

I have received a few emails from you lovely readers regarding my typical nail care routine, so this week I am going to share with you some of my favorite nail products! To begin, let me tell you about my favorite base coat: Seche Rebuild.

I have tried many many base coats in my quest to improve the health of my nails. Each time I stray, I return to Seche Rebuild. Rebuild helps to "strengthen weak, thin nails" by using a protein formula to reinforce and support nails. My nails tend to get a bit dry. They rarely peel, but can become a bit brittle as they grow out. As a result, they often break and I have to keep them short. I also have some vertical ridges in my nails that are part of my natural nail structure.

My Experience with the Benefit Cosmetics Brow Bar

I wanted to share with you all my recent experience at my local Benefit Cosmetics Brow Bar. Throughout my adult life, I have had a difficult time finding an salon or spa that will do my eyebrows how I want them. Like many people, my eyebrows are two different shapes and arches - one is a mid arch and the other is a very flat arch. Typically, this means that whoever waxes my eyebrows makes them very thin to get the arches to match, even if I indicate that I do not want my brows to be thin. My experience at my ULTA's Benefit Brow Bar, however, was completely different!

At the Brow Bar, the aesthetician listened to the types of brows that I preferred. She then showed me where my natural arches fall and compared that to where they should fall. She marked these areas with a pencil and confirmed the shape and thickness with me before waxing. The wax itself was excellent and very painless. I also found it very moisturizing. She made adjustments to my brows when she was done with the waxing in accordance with my preferences. In particular, I thought my brows were too close together for taste (as is en vogue right now), so she adjusted accordingly. I really felt listened to and walked out with very natural looking arches.

OPI Germany Collection: Danke-Shiny Red + Dupe Search

Overall, the new OPI Germany collection wasn't quite my cup of tea. I'm holding out for the Bond collection coming out for the holidays. That being said, I can't pass up a beautiful red, so I snagged Danke-Shiny Red at my local ULTA. I realized as soon as I put it on that it reminded me of one of my favorite polishes, but more on that later.

Danke-Shiny Red is a beautiful bright red shimmer. It is just slightly more yellow than a true red, but certainly is not orange. This polish is completely luminous and looks like it is on fire! It has so much depth and beauty to it. I know I probably don't need another red in my collection, but this is really truly gorgeous!

L'Oreal EverStrong Deep Replenish Masque - A Review

Raise your hand if your hair has taken a beating this summer! Mine definitely has. I've been out in the sun quite a bit and have spent some time in the pool as well. I noticed last week that my ends have become pretty dry so I turned to a new hair masque to get some extra conditioning - L'Oreal EverStrong Deep Replenish Masque. Let's see how it worked out.

Formula and Packaging
This masque has a nice thick and fluffy formula that is easy to comb through hair. It isn't too liquid so you can distribute it through hair without it running off your hair. The product is easy to distribute evenly, but be sure to use a very wide tooth comb to avoid damage when combing through. This masque really stuck to my hair, which I greatly appreciate. I could feel it rinsing out, and it didn't leave any residue. This does come in a jar, which can be a bit tricky to use in the shower. I would recommend putting this on a shelf and waiting to put  the top back on until after you have run it through your hair. I almost dropped this the first time I tried it since my hands were slick with the conditioner. However, I purposely turned the jar upside down and no product came out. Even if you did drop this, I wouldn't be concerned about losing product.

My Summer Beauty Must Have Products

Last week, I posted my favorite summer beauty look. A bright hot pink lip and champagne eyes. You can find the full look here. Today I wanted to share with you some of my favorite summer beauty products. Consider this a special summer edition of my Everyday Favorites series. Here are my top 10 in no particular order. Let me know in the comments if I missed any of your must haves!

1. Revlon Colorstay Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Smitten - I am totally addicted to these. My favorite for summer is Smitten. It looks darker in the pencil, but ends up quite bright on my lips. These are moisturizing and last forever on my lips. I have a review in the works so be sure to check back.

2. Jergens Natural Glow Face and Body Moisturizers - I love a tan and do lay out by the pool occasionally, but much prefer to fake it. These give me a glow but don't turn me too brown or orange. I especially love how the facial moisturizer instantly makes me look brighter and more refreshed.
