Color: Surreal Appeal is a beautiful warm toned pink. It is a cross between coral and bubblegum. To me, it is feminine and classic but with just a bit of edge. To be honest, I don't have many pink polishes in my collection as they often wash out my skin tone or are too pale for me. This polish, however, is really complementary. I love the coral in this pink which really makes the color pop.
Texture: As much as I love the color on this, I found the texture difficult to work with. It may just be my particular batch. I am going to give China Glaze the benefit of the doubt because I have never had trouble with the consistency of any of their other polishes, which is quite a feat since I have a large collection of their polishes. I found Surreal Appeal to be very thick on the nail. I had a hard time getting the right amount of polish on the brush. When applying, I found that the polish pooled around my cuticles (as you can see in some of the photos) and on a few fingers, it was difficult to apply evenly. This also led to a longer than usual drying time.

Dupes: I don't have any dupes for this in my collection (as I don't have many pinks), but it is quite similar in feel to China Glaze High Hopes. As you can see from the photos, High Hopes is more orange and brighter.
Overall: I adore the color on this polish. I am interested to see if others found it a bit thick. I might just add a few drops of thinner to the bottle to see if that helps it along. It will be a perfect pedicure color for spring.
