Holiday Face - Mrs. Claus

In addition to showing you all some wearable holiday looks for all your social occasions this season, I thought I would show my take on some Christmas favorites. Today I have for you Mrs. Claus. Just add a white wig and some old fashioned glasses and you will be all the rage at your Christmas party!
Face - After applying your base, add a bit of highlighter to the cheeks and nose. Then take either a bright pink blush or a bright lipstick and apply to the apples of the cheeks. If you use a lipstick, be sure to blend. We want a bright flushed cheek since Mrs. Claus spends all her time at the North Pole!

Lips - For the lips, I went with a bright red cherry lipstick to compliment the red dress Mrs. Claus wears. I also envision her as a 1950's goddess for some reason, so I decided to keep with the classic 50's look (with a bit of a twist)

Eyes - To achieve the gray brows, I simply applied a white eyeliner to the brows and blended. This can be repeated until the desired level of white has been reached. If you want pure white brows, I recommend using a grit stick or soaping your brows. The eye itself is rather simple. I used a shimmery nude colored eye shadow (in this case a cream) and applied all over the eye. I then swept a tiny bit of a darker brown on the outer crease. I then took my black liquid liner and applied to the top eyelashes. I added some flares on the outside to achieve a fun flipped out look. This is the same technique I used for my Alice in Wonderland Halloween look - you can find more detailed instructions here. Finally, finish off with your favorite mascara.
There you have it. A simply and easy Mrs. Claus look. Check back later this week when I show you my fun (and a bit absurd) Rudolph look!

Stay Beautiful!
